Supplies needed:
Flax Sweater pattern - download the worsted version from tincanknits.com
Worsted weight yarn, 200-800 yards for baby and child sizes, 800-2340 for teen and adult sizes, check your pattern for the amount needed for your size.
Suggested yarns: Manos del Uruguay Alegria Grande, Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted, or Berroco Vintage.
Knitting needles: US #6 / 4mm & US #8 / 5mm (or as required to meet gauge)
Gauge: 18 sts & 24 rounds / 4” in stockinette on larger needles
0 to 2 yrs: 16” circular, and DPNs* in each size.
4 to 10 yrs: 16”, 24” circulars, and DPNs* in each size.
XS to XL: 16”, 32” circulars, and DPNs* in each size.
XXL to 6XL: 16”, 32”, 48” circulars, and DPNs*
in larger size, 16”, 48” circulars, and DPNs* in
smaller size.
*If you know the Magic loop technique you can use it in place of DPNs.
