Let down your feed dogs and get ready to learn free motion quilting! We'll learn to meander, make loops and pebbles, hearts and lines, and more.
Class supplies must be purchased from Silk Road Textiles. By using our high quality products, you know that you have the right tools and fibers to set you up for success, and we are able to keep our class prices down.
Supplies:
Three fat quarter quilt sandwiches (top fabric, cotton batting, and bottom fabric). Fabric must be woven and 100% cotton and should read solid to better see your stitching.
Thread: either Aurifil or Presencia 50 wt. cotton thread
Paper and a pen or pencil for doodle practice
*Students must have a free motion foot for their sewing machine. This foot may be called a darning foot or a hopping foot.
Bring your sewing machine and free motion foot to class. Don't forget your power cord and foot pedal! If you have a manual for your machine, please bring it along, too.
